Roger Steel, Trent Bridge Rotary Clubs event chairman states " Leukaemia is an illness that can affect both adults & children, in it's various, and as Rotarians we are especially proud to support this years nominated charity.
We are mindful that the Leukaemia Research Fund has invested considerable resources in our local hospitals, particularly the Nottingham City Hospital, which is now a centre of excellence for the treatment of patients with Leukaemia and related diseases. In fact more bone marrow and stem cell transplants were performed there last year than at any other hospital in Europe !
We are proud to support this investment to ensure that Nottingham stays at the forefront in the fight against this terrible disease, and so every donation that you make does clearly make a difference, and is vital to the efforts of Leukaemia Research."
Volunteers from the charity will be assisting us on the night, so don't miss out on your 'sticker', and you may wish to seek out their own charity stall.
Another monster crowd will allow us to generously support Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal, along with other charities and groups that help us on the night. Come along enjoy yourselves, be mindful of the needs of others, and as our logo says - 'Rotary Shares'
