CRESCENDO - Formidably Impressive!
This year the annual Wilford Robin Hood Festival of Fireworks will fall on Saturday November 7th, at Nottingham Moderns Rugby Ground, Wilford Village, NG11 7AA.
Stand by for a stunning display of impressive fireworks from the locally renowned pyrotechnic team from Crescendo Fireworks responsible for the dazzling displays at Highfields Lakeside, celebrating Chinese New Year, and Wilford Jubilee Celebrations.
We assure you of a display better than anything you will see locally - and not just one, but TWO DISPLAYS - wow !
Event Promoter Roger Steel goes on to say " with the new Wilford Village tram stop adjacent the event, travel couldn’t be easier. A clean burn pallet bonfire is proposed to add a bit of warmth to the event, with due consideration for the environment

Roger enthuses; "Due to the demand we will also continue with a Real Ale Beer Tent, with ales from Castle Rock Brewery. What better way to wash down the succulent, ever popular Hog Roast.
And, we will be featuring local live music in the marquee provisionally featuring last year’s band Terminal 5, and a new young upcoming band from West Bridgford called : Awake Me - I’m sure they will !

ATTENTION - YOUR PARKING FACILITIES
There are limited parking facilities in Wilford Village, and parking restrictions apply, as we have a duty to look after the interests of the local community.
May we suggest utilising our parking off Wilford Lane at Emmanuel School & Becket schools, then utilising the new well lit tram footpath direct into the Firework Event. You can even take a one-stop tram ride from Becket !
And YES new for 2015 !
This year, You can even arrive straight to the event by Nottingham’s new Tram service – just alight at the Wilford Village Tram Stop, alongside Nottingham Moderns Rugby Club, where the event takes place!
Use Victoria Embankment to park – with pedestrian access over the Toll Bridge, direct to the event.
Ask the Stewards if you need help. Just £2 per car to cover our stewarding costs, thank you.
CAUTION – Do not park in Wilford Co-Op car park as a strict ONE HOUR limit is imposed, TAKE HEED!
Do give yourself plenty of time to arrive early, and avoid disappointment. We have a tight programme.
