Our Huge Bonfire is arguably the biggest you will ever see! Have a look at the video clips from a previous year. Our bonfire builder C Mec Demolition featured on the BBC series 'Demolition', and described by the BBC as akin to a 'small Welsh hillside' ! Goodbye Mr Fawkes - night, night !!
STOP PRESS!
Saturday 24th November saw Bonfire Night come early! Our massive pile of wood was set alight in a wilful and senseless act.Despite valiant efforts by the Fire & Rescue Service,a decision was taken to let it burn out! Disappointment all round, but a resolve to build another bonfire, in time for Saturday 7th November.
Who lit the bonfire ? That is the mystery ?
Was it Billy ?

NEW PARKING FACILITIES
There are now very limited parking facilities in Wilford Village, and parking restrictions apply, as we have a duty to look after the interests of the local community.
May we suggest use of the Victoria Embankment - pedestrian access via Wilford Toll Bridge, or use the new Gresham Sports Park Car Park, with access from the new Wilford Lane mini-roundabout, then utilising the new well lit footpath direct into Wilford Village and the Bonfire Event.
Ask the Stewards if you need help.
Do give yourself plenty of time to arrive early, and avoid disappointment. We have a tight programme. You may spot a famous face in the crowd ? But who is Catherine Wheel ?
